Einführung: Forex Markt
Beim Forex Handel begegnest du oft dem Begriff „Forex Lots“. Dabei handelt es sich um eine standardisierte Handelsgröße, wobei 1 Lot = 100.000 Einheiten der Basiswährung entspricht, also der ersten Währung im Paar.
Der Gegensatz zur Basiswährung wäre die Kurswährung, diese bestimmt die Pip Wertigkeit und ist die zweite Währung im Währungspaar. Beim EURUSD, wäre es der US-Dollar (USD).

Verschiedene Lot-Größen im Überblick
Mit einem Forex Lot bestimmst du, wieviel du pro Pip (die vierte Nachkommastelle im EUR/USD) im FX Markt bewegst.
💡Je größer die Lot-Größe, desto größer der Gewinn und das Risiko.

Margin und Hebel
Durch die ESMA-Regulierung sind die maximalen Hebel für private Trader auf 30:1 für Hauptwährungspaare und auf 20:1 für Minors und exotische Währungspaare begrenzt. Die Margin (Sicherheitsleistung) ist der Betrag, den du auf deinem Konto haben musst, um eine Position zu eröffnen. Schließt du den Trade, wird die Margin nicht mehr vom Forex Broker geblockt und freigegeben.
Der Hebel ist das Verhältnis des gehandelten Betrags zur Margin.

Angenommen, du handelst EUR/USD und entscheidest dich, ein Standard Lot zu kaufen (long gehen), d.h. du spekulierst dass der EURUSD Kurs steigt.
Ein Standard Lot entspricht 100.000 Einheiten des EUR/USD-Paares. Im Forex Trading wird der Wert eines Pips durch die Kurswährung bestimmt, die die zweite Währung im Paar.
Beim EUR/USD ist die Kurswährung der US-Dollar (USD), daher ist der Wert eines Pips in USD angegeben.
Bei einem Standard Lot ist ein Pip 10$.
Willst du Wert in Euro wissen, dann teile diesen Wert durch den aktuellen EUR/USD Kurs.

Steigt der Preis des Währungspaar EURSD um 1 Pip, würdest du 10$ gewinnen.
